Clear principles
Visibility with purpose.
Independence without compromise.
Sponsorship supports an environment. It does not purchase an institutional or technical outcome.
Independent decisions
Governance, standards, Recognition, Accreditation, assessment, verification and technical or editorial conclusions remain outside the commercial arrangement.
Transparent attribution
Commercial visibility and sponsored content are identified clearly. A sponsor placement is not an AF endorsement of products or services.
Separate from membership
An organization may be a member, a sponsor, both or neither. Sponsorship grants no membership rights or automatic technical status.
Scope before commitment
Suitability, conflicts, channels, duration, responsibilities and delivery are reviewed and recorded. AF may decline an arrangement.
From interest to activation
A clear next step.
Not a preset package.
A focused activation or a broader programme starts with the same conversation. Scope and resources determine the proposal; no arbitrary fixed prices are published.

Before you enquire
Useful answers,
without the fine print.
Can a smaller organization sponsor AF?
Relevant organizations of different sizes can be considered. A focused, subject-specific activation may be more appropriate than a broad programme; suitability is not automatic.
Can we contribute technology or services instead of funding?
Yes, a structured in-kind arrangement can be considered where it supports an agreed activity. Value, operational suitability, responsibilities and attribution are documented.
Does sponsorship include speaking opportunities or exclusivity?
Neither is automatic. Any appropriate event participation or limited category exclusivity must be separately agreed for a specific programme and cannot restrict technical or institutional independence.
What should we include in the first enquiry?
Describe your organization, objective, intended audience and relevant context. Indicative timing, budget and additional information are optional. Please do not send classified, export-controlled or proprietary technical information.
