Learning for aerospace practice.

A planned programme of briefings, webinars and applied workshops across aviation, space and institutional practice.

In developmentTarget activation: Q2 2027

No Academy courses or enrolment are currently open. The target is provisional, not a confirmed launch date.

What the Academy is being developed to offer.

These are proposed subject areas, not available courses. The first programme cycle and individual sessions have not yet been published.

Aircraft · systems · operations

Aviation & operations

Connect the aircraft itself with the decisions that keep it in service.

  • Explore how structures, propulsion and onboard systems work together.
  • Read maintenance, inspection and technical records in their operational context.
  • Discuss the interfaces between engineering, safety and day-to-day operations.

  2. Maintenance case
  3. Operational context

Intended audienceProfessionals and early-career participants

What a session could look like

A proposed workshop could use a simplified maintenance case: identify the affected system, examine the available records and discuss which questions need specialist review. This would be a learning exercise, not maintenance authorization.

Spacecraft · ground · mission

Space systems & missions

See a mission as a connected system, rather than a spacecraft in isolation.

  • Introduce payload, power, communications and other spacecraft functions.
  • Connect satellite operations with ground infrastructure and mission needs.
  • Explore how mission data is used, interpreted and placed in context.
Illustrative learning sequence
  1. Mission need
  2. Satellite & ground
  3. Data use

Intended audienceEngineers, researchers and sector newcomers

What a session could look like

An introductory session could follow an Earth-observation example from a user need to satellite and ground-system functions, then discuss the intended use of the resulting data. No mission or course is currently scheduled.

Quality, standards & assurance

Examine how a requirement becomes something that can be demonstrated and reviewed. Proposed subjects include quality management, measurement, technical records and the use of standards.

  2. EvidenceWhat records support it?
  3. ReviewWhat remains unresolved?

Systems & information

Digital systems & integration

Use a simple interface map to discuss where data comes from, how teams exchange it and why software, records and system boundaries matter.

Proposed audience: technical specialists and cross-disciplinary teams.
People & institutions

Institutional practice

Work through a cooperation scenario: clarify the mandate, identify responsibilities and consider how decisions and contributions are documented.

Proposed audience: member institutions and professional contributors.

Planned delivery formats

Different subjects need different ways to learn. Each published session would identify its audience, level and intended learning outcome.

Delivery mode, duration and access conditions will be published with each confirmed activity. These formats are currently in planning.

Development schedule, not a course timetable.

The existing planning target remains Q2 2027. Readiness may change the sequence or timing.

  1. Q4 2026

    Programme definition

Set priority subjects, intended audiences and delivery requirements.

  2. Q1 2027

    Contributor preparation

Develop the first cycle with subject specialists, educators and member input.

  3. Q2 2027

    Target activation

Introduce initial activities only when content, contributors and delivery arrangements are ready.

No sessions are currently open for booking.

Dates, time zones, delivery mode, session level, contributors and access conditions remain unannounced. Consult the Federation event programme for currently published activities.
