Aerospace Federation Looks Toward 2028 Working Cycle

An early outlook toward 2028 places the Federation’s current institutional preparations within a longer-term working perspective.

Aerospace Federation is looking toward a planned 2028 working cycle while preparing the membership, governance and participation foundations needed for future activity.

A longer-term planning horizon

The proposed 2028 working cycle gives the Federation a horizon for considering how its activities could develop over time. It is an outlook formed during 2026, not an account of work already undertaken in 2028.

The intention is to connect near-term institutional preparation with a sustained approach to professional participation. A longer perspective helps frame the relationship between today’s foundations and future programmes.

Preparing the foundations first

Membership arrangements, working structures and initial technical priorities are part of the preparation that would support a future cycle. Their development will inform what can realistically be organised.

The 2028 cycle remains a plan. Its scope and timing will depend on subsequent preparation and decisions as the Federation’s institutional and professional activities develop.
